Ce travail tourne autour des inscriptions gravées à la hâte sur les murs des villes, de leur singularité typographique et de la valeur qu'on leur donne.
La base de ce travail est une série de relevés, d'empreintes en argile faîtes à partir d'inscriptions gravées sur les murs de la Cathédrale de Strasbourg. Certaines d'entre elles étant vieilles de plusieurs siècles, il était intéressant de constater l'évolution des typographies, surtout soumis aux contraintes d'une inscription gravée. En partant de ces relevés, j'ai étudié des caractéristiques récurrentes de cette typographie manuelle et j'ai crée quatre typographies.

This work turns around the inscription engraved hastily on the walls of cities, their typographic peculiarity and value which we give them.
The base of this work is a series of statements, imprints in clay prints from inscriptions engraved on the walls of the Cathedral of Strasbourg. Some of them being several centuries old, it was interesting to notice the typographic evolution, especially subjected to the constraints of an engraving.From these statements, I studied recurring characteristics of this manual typography and created four typographies that ehance those characteristics.
There were then used in posters stuck all over the city in a furtive way.
