This serie of photos was taken in Seoul, South Korea, in June, 2011. They aim at transposing the feeling felt in front of the strange group constituted by the immense concrete structures crossing the city to support the dense traffic and infrastructures settled below them: bicycle paths, children parks, playing fields.
For a western observer, this way of handling the space, without loss and without a priori can seem very strange. It is afterward that I questioned myself about the general theme of non place, the notion developed in this suite of researches notebooks.

This serie of photos was taken in the American West. These landscapes interested me in their timeless and universal aspect. Their quality of stereotype transformed them automatically into non places, space of everywhere and anywhere.
To support this characteristic, I chose to separate the colors layers of every image and to transform them into modules. These are then randomly put together again to recreate these typical landscapes infinitely.

Theoretical texts on the notion of non places.

Series of experiments around real non places which are not modelled in 3D by the " Street View " function of Google Maps. The "intermediate" spaces, the abandoned spaces or the spaces in the process of transformation, negatives of the city, denied, even in the virtual world, by this graphic treatment.
