informative medals

This project aims to make a person food prohibitions understood without using orality.

The communication between persons speaking different languages is a particularly interesting process because it requires the use of bridges, common references, expressing themselves by means of through movement or visual. The demarcation of this space of common apprehension is a complex work, often blurred by the peculiar cultural references of the person realizing the project.

To answer the problem, this project, aiming to make the food prohibitions of a person understood without the need to express oneself orally, uses simple forms and primary colors, inspired by Paul Rand, who used visual and semantic associations combined with simple graphics. These medals resume the same principle of association of several images to create a visual sentence. This approach allows to create a modular system, adaptable to every user.
